This error may occur during a player installation if the entered BoxID is already in use by another media player. It can also occur if there was a timeout while trying to register your device with the CMS server.
Problem description
Player registration fails, stating that the BoxID is already in use.
- A media player with the same BoxID is already registered.
- The BoxID entered is not correct.
Solution
- Check the BoxID for typos, etc.
- Use the following workaround
Workaround
- Press F9 to go to the installation step where you enter your dealer information.
- Change the BoxID by adding “temp” at the end.
